Tasks are the core of Tobi. Here's how to create your first task and start getting organized.
Quick Add
The fastest way to create a task:
- Click the "+" button on the dashboard
- Type your task title
- Optionally set a project, priority, due date, or time estimate
- Press Enter or click "Add Task"
Task Details
Click any task to open the detail panel where you can:
- Edit the title and add a description
- Set or change the due date
- Adjust priority (Low, Medium, High, Urgent)
- Add time estimates for better planning
- Create subtasks to break down larger tasks
- Add tags for organization
- Set up recurring schedules (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Mark as "Hard Deadline" for critical tasks
Drag and Drop
Drag tasks to reorder them by priority. Your custom order is saved and persists across sessions.
